Sharing the ideas from David Epstein's book “Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World”, I believe having a diverse set of skills across multiple fields is crucial for success, despite the world becoming more specialized. This, regardless of whether you work with commercializing quantum computing or research new treatments for curing leukemia. Personally, I have interests across a diverse set of fields including software development, design, journalism, product management, and entrepreneurship to name a few. In particular I currently have a strong interest in the intersection of finance and computer science. Through my education, personal projects, and future professional experience I aim to acquire more knowledge in understanding how computing principles can revolutionize financial modeling, risk management, and investment strategies.
Outside of academia, I enjoy climbing ‘Skogshorn’ - both by foot and skis. I am an avid photographer, and I always enjoy challenging my friends to a tennis match.
